Ringing in the New Year with a 5.0 Earthquake

The epicenter of tonight's 5.0 earthquake was about 50 miles northeast of Fullerton, in San Bernardino. We felt it around 7:50 p.m. Not as shaky at this summer's bigger, closer shake. Here's the USGS 411.
