We lovingly call this "snarge." When she was eating less, it was 1 T pureed raw kale and only 2 T grains but the rest was the same. We use whatever non-citrus fruit that is in season. So for a long time it was peaches instead of apples.

We do another snarge at dinner which is basically the same except only 2 T grains and substitute 2 T tofu for the legumes.

This is all from Super Baby Food. I think she calls it Super Porridge or something.

It actually takes pretty good. I mean, I prefer to eat my food in a less mushed all together format, but I could easily pack away a serving of snarge.

We picked those lemons especially for you! Cal-Organics buys a lot of their produce from the farms around here, so if you've got the purple label, you're probably eating fruit from our 'hood. They don't call it Orange County for nothing.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10985641228586503550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11679575.post-27614021531998547342011-01-22T23:34:21.721-05:002011-01-22T23:34:21.721-05:00Do you serve straight pureed kale or do you mix it...Do you serve straight pureed kale or do you mix it with something? Do you steam it, boil it?

My Kroger carries organic lemons from Fullerton, CA. The label on them looks similar to the one on your carrots. I wonder if I am also getting some of your CSA produce?Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05101977301861885022noreply@blogger.com
